the road not taken

This road is not taken. It is the south on ramp to the South Park Bridge also known as the 14th/16th Ave Bridge in South Park which is a neighborhood along the Duwamish river in South Seattle. This bridge is now closed. It remains in the up position. I will post some shots of the raised spans later.

This young woman reminded me a little of a popular girl from my high school days. National merit scholar, athlete, girl of the year, friendly, pretty, many talents, dated the star quarterback and was still with him four years later when I saw her and spoke to her for the last time. A decade later she committed suicide.
